Since the Grand Launch on 30th March, which saw queues of devotees snake down Irving Street and into Leicester Square, new kid on the block The Halal Guys has continued to exceed all expectations.

Each day over 1,000 of the brand’s famous platters alone are sold, with people travelling to the restaurant from as far away as Southampton, Leeds and Glasgow just to feast on NYC’s finest street food.

Now however another corner of London is set to experience The Halal Guys mania with a 48-seater site all set to launch in Earl’s Court Road in July.

Founded as a food cart back in 1990 by three Egyptian immigrants to New York City, Mohammed Abouelenein, Ahmed Elsaka and Abedelbaset Elsayed, The Halal Guys is the quintessential American dream.

Serving the famous chicken, beef, vegan-friendly falafel or combo over rice with the legendary secret recipe White and Hot sauce – either as a platter or a sandwich – not only would their creation grow to become the second most Yelped! restaurant in New York City, but part of American culture, referenced in everything from Cardi B lyrics to Hasan Minhaj’s stand-up routine

Having cut a swathe through the US and the Far East – with nearly 80 locations and counting – ITICO F+B Limited is now delighted to give London its second opportunity to feast on the “platter that matters”.
