Father’s Day is just around the corner, and if socks and aftershave really won’t cut it this year, Polo & Tweed has the answer.
Tapping into the growing trend that consumers are happier when they spend on experiential purchases versus material ones, the luxury domestic recruiter – whose clients include everyone from A listers to captains of industry – is offering a Father’s Day experience with a difference.
For one day only, Polo & Tweed will bring a five star hotel into the home by arranging for a butler to come to the house and serve a champagne tea for up to six people.
The butler would lay the table, set up the tea and then serve it, before hosting a fun masterclass on formal etiquette and dining at royal banquets.
As this is for an extra special occasion, the offering doesn’t end there. Polo & Tweed has joined forces with renowned Speyside distillery Mortlach to include a whisky tasting element, making this something truly exceptional.
Guests will be able to enjoy a tasting of both a 12-year-old and 20-year-old Mortlach, with a rrp of £50 and £200 respectively. Mortlach is “The Beast of Dufftown”; its character harks back to a time when whiskies were bigger, bolder, darker. With its earthy, meaty roots, its flavour is not what people expect from Speyside, but it is one which is gaining in popularity and rarely found, making this even more of a money- can’t-buy experience.
Following the event, the recipient will be able to keep both bottles to enjoy at their leisure.
The Polo & Tweed/Mortlach Father’s Day experience retails at £750.
