Step your brunch game up this weekend
Located within the five-star lifestyle hotel Andaz London Liverpool Street and listed by Forbes as one of London’s top five Japanese restaurants, Miyako has been embraced by locals and visitors alike. Particularly popular have been the venue’s weekday bottomless late lunch, a feast of sushi, sashimi, rolls and hot Japanese delicacies. Now with the introduction of Miyako’s new all-day Saturday Sumo menu, weekend revellers may indulge in limitless treats too.
For an incredible £24 per person, diners can sample a dazzling array of starters – miso soup, edamame and prawn or pork gyoza among them; hand-rolled sushi and maki; mains of the calibre of chicken teriyaki and seafood kakiage and such irresistible desserts as Japanese mochi.
This completely authentic offering, masterminded by Japanese Head Chef Kosei Sakamoto, is available every Saturday from 11.30am until 5.30pm. Children up to the age of ten meanwhile can also enjoy the Bottomless Sumo Lunch for only £12 a head. What better introduction could there be to the delicate tastes and textures of Japanese food?
As it’s the weekend, why not upgrade to bottomless drinks as well? For a total of just £44 per head, Miyako will add a sake selection plus Japanese beer into the mix.
