The Only Thing Hotter Than The UK Heatwave Today At Cazoo St Leger Festival Is Scorching X-FACTOR Winners Real Like You

This year, the Cazoo St Leger Festival at Doncaster Racecourse is challenging Royal Ascot Ladies Day in the style-stakes and has hired high-end fashionista ,Sarah Kate Byrne, who styles ITV’s glamourous racing presenter, Francesca Cumani, to create a fantastic style guide, promoting the ultimate in racing glamour at tomorrow’s Ladies Day.

Not only that, but two members of the long-awaited X-Factor winning girl group Real Like You also rocked the show this morning in Donny. Halle Williams and Virginia Hampson took some time out of their hectic studio recording sessions this week to treat themselves to a day in the sun filled with fun and fizz, with their managers close by their side. The girls appeared at the racecourse this morning, donning gorgeous outfits for a fantastic day out on Cazoo St Leger Festival launch day.

Halle stunned in a divine snake print mini dress with classic square-toe gold heels. Whilst Virginia turned heads in a green floral midi-dress paired with white wedges and her hair slicked back in a gorgeous 90’s bun.

The girls, who have been busy recording their brand-new debut album, were very excited to be dressed up in their finery and even more excited about the stunning weather, Halle said:

“We knew we were going to have a lovely day off from recording, but this sunshine! Yorkshire’s looking just beautiful in the sunshine! I think this racing festival might be up there as one of the best you know”.

Halle and Virginia spoke to BBC this morning talking about Cazoo St Leger Festival and their first day ever at the races, telling them how excited they were to be here…and what better weather for a day out?

The racecourse has today seen one of the hottest ever days in its history as mercury hit 29 degrees centigrade, sparking a yellow warning from the Met Office for racegoers to take breaks from the sunshine and keep hydrated  , during the main heat of the afternoon.

Rachel Harwood of Doncaster Racecourse said: “We have seen  more interest in the Cazoo St Leger Festival than ever before, as we are one of the first major racing Festivals this year to be all singing all dancing, without most of the pandemic restrictions – our Cazoo St Leger Day on Saturday is nearly sold out!”
