Halo Top Hotline – 10,000 Free Ice Creams!
Halo Top Hotline – 10,000 Free Ice Creams!

Today and tomorrow Halo Top ice cream will be giving away 10,000 free ice creams in Russell Square to celebrate the launch of new Halo Top Sticks.

Calling all ice cream fans! Halo Top Creamery celebrates the launch of its brand-new snackable ice cream sticks by giving away more than 10,000 free samples to its most dedicated fans, from a very special frozen telephone box.

For just two days on April 11 and 12, Halo Top will take over one of central London’s most iconic landmarks and turn it into an ice cream party, transforming it into a beautiful and thoroughly insta-worthy Birthday Cake-themed freezer. The frozen telephone box will be placed in Russell Square and filled with Halo Top sticks, giving thousands of fans the chance to get an exclusive first taste for free. Five thousand Halo Top sticks will be up for grabs each day between 11am and 6pm on a first come, first served basis.

Luckily for Halo Top fans, this party isn’t limited just to London. In conjunction with the frozen telephone box, Halo Top will also launch its national ‘Halo Top Hotline,’ giving all fans the chance to get their hands on the sticks for free.*

The ‘Halo Top Hotline’ will operate Monday to Friday for six weeks starting April 11. Ice cream lovers are invited to cold call the hotline on 0800 DAIRY 04 (0800 324 7904) for a chance to win Halo Top® sticks to try at home for themselves. One winner a day for 30 days will be selected to win their own stash of the four brand-new Halo Top sticks multipacks to enjoy. For full terms and conditions on how the ‘Halo Top Hotline’ works, head over to halotop.uk/new for more information.

Halo Top sticks are the latest addition to the Halo Top® family, giving ice cream lovers another delicious option they can feel good about eating. The sticks arrived in the U.K. by popular demand following the successful U.S. launch earlier this year. The sticks hit select Tesco stores nationwide mid-March for £5.00 per pack, giving fans the same Halo Top® they know and love – only now with 100% more stick.

Halo Top’s newest product will be sold in multi-packs of three, and are available in four flagship flavours, including the brand-new Strawberry Cheesecake. Each of the brand’s new sticks are a source of protein and perfectly portioned for snacking and sharing. The four flavours include:

  • Strawberry Cheesecake – For those who want to have their (cheese) cake and eat it too, this strawberry cheesecake-flavoured ice cream gets even better with a biscuit swirl
  • Sea Salt Caramel – Britain’s best-loved flavour balances sweet and salty with luscious caramel swirls and a touch of sea salt
  • Peanut Butter Swirl – This irresistible treat for peanut butter fiends blends peanut butter ice cream with a swirl of silky peanut butter for extra decadence
  • Birthday Cake – Get that birthday feeling in a bite, with this celebratory treat full of colourful sprinkles and the taste of homemade birthday cake

Thousands of Londoners were treated to Halo Top’s newest ice cream sticks, with the arrival of a Birthday Cake themed frozen telephone box in Russell Square (London) today (Thursday 11th April) and tomorrow (Friday 12th April).
Passersby were able to help themselves to one of 10,000 free ice cream sticks from within the brand’s unique telephone box.

Doug Bouton, President & COO at Halo Top Creamery, said

“Launching our new ice cream sticks is a big moment for us, so we wanted to give our British fans the chance to grab a stick (or three) on us. With way fewer calories and sugar than other stick bars in the UK, they’re the perfect feel-good treat, especially with summer right around the corner.”

Halo Top first launched its iconic tubs in the United Kingdom in January 2018, becoming an instant ice cream sensation.
