A new men’s watch brand which creates limited edition timepieces in small run batches has just launched. Online boutique watch brand, Aldrig Sen, launched in August 2020 with watches which feature a completely unique piece of artwork on the dial, making just under 150 in each batch. What makes them so special is once a certain watch design is sold out it is never repeated, making these pieces truly exclusive but at an affordable price.

Aldrig Sen’s first design, ‘Hell Hath No Fury’ (£149.99 is adapted from a piece of art featuring a renaissance woman. The portrait has been overlain with tattoos and markings to show a rebellious side. It is designed to go against the grain and challenge the boundaries of watch designs that have come before.

Aldrig Sen was founded by three friends from Leicester, Matt Hewett, Sam Barkshire, Pratik Patel.

Matt Hewett, co-founder of Aldrig Sen said: “We aim to fight against the mass production of generic timepieces in the watch industry by creating uniquely styled watches that stay exclusive, at a price that is available to everyone. The idea for Aldrig Sen came as we all normally bought watches at this price point but felt there was a real lack of originality in the market. The chances are there are hundreds of other men who have a watch identical to your own. Aldrig Sen is a watch brand that rebels against this.”

“When designing ‘Hell Hath No Fury’, we were trying to be quite symbolic of our views towards the watch market as it stands currently. We wanted to take this classical look and add a twist. We decided we should try and do the same with the artwork that we were putting on the watch; so we took what felt like quite a classical piece of art and gave it a much more modern, unique look. Facial tattoos are often considered quite anti-establishment and unconventional and this added to the idea of going against the designs of established, conventional watch brands.”

The uniqueness of the watch as well makes it an excellent gift for a loved one this Christmas.

‘Hell Hath No Fury’ is available exclusively from, £149.99, whilst stocks last.
